Part of First Analyzation Steps

We were trying to observe if there is a correlation between substance concentration and location. This is an example of one of the concentration maps we made. It shows the different locations of of sediment samples and their corresponding lead concentrations. From the visual it can be seen that two of the ledge locations have  relatively low lead readings (70.54 and 59.84).

This week, we want to compare the levels of metals throughout the sediment core. We want to observe how element levels fluctuate throughout the depths. Is there a correlation between certain elements and their levels of concentration? Is there a reason why certain elements have higher concentrations in general (overall depth)? Results: This last graph shows a very high concentration of Iron. We are interested in seeing how the levels of iron change over spatial deviation and if the levels are similar to the relatively high levels found in the core.
